Ahmed Abdulahi Maintains CoG Chairperson Position


Wajir Governor Ahmed Abdulahi has successfully retained his role as the chairperson of the Council of Governors during a full council meeting that took place on Monday. Nyeri Governor Mutahi Kahiga has also been re-elected as the vice chair of the CoG. Muthomi Njuki from Tharaka Nithi has been appointed to the Council’s Executive as Whip, succeeding Nandi Governor Stephen Sang. Abdulahi and his team assumed office last year after Kirinyaga Governor Anne Waiguru completed her constitutional two terms as the CoG chair.
