Calls have been made for the arrest of the principal due to mismanagement and alleged looting involving school parents

Reports have surfaced regarding the tenure of Outrage as the Principal of Ndiru Secondary, where it is claimed he converted school trees into a personal business.

Allegations have been directed at Mr. Odipo during his time as the principal of Ndiru Secondary School in Seme, Kisumu County. According to sources, under his administration, the school has seen no significant progress in infrastructure or academic performance. Moreover, he is accused of engaging in practices that exploit school resources for his own financial benefit while imposing unfair financial burdens on students. Details suggest that during his leadership, Mr. Odipo has allegedly been involved in the deforestation of the school grounds to produce charcoal, which he sells privately, while simultaneously enforcing strict financial demands on students, including sending them home for trip and setbook fees regardless of their school fee status. Concerns have been raised that such actions, which consistently disrupt learning and place excessive pressure on students, could lead to a decline in mental health among learners. Stakeholders have described his leadership style as one characterized by intimidation and threats. Following the celebration of MAZINGIRA day yesterday, calls for authorities to hold him accountable for all the trees he has cut down without replacement have intensified. At one point, he displayed arrogance when questioned about the funds received from the sale of charcoal, which reportedly ended up in his own pockets.
