RAILA IS NOT SICK: ODM DECLARES


Raila Odinga Secretariat has issued a strong statement dismissing claims circulating on social media and some mainstream outlets regarding the health of ODM Party Leader Raila Odinga.


In a press release signed by his spokesperson Dennis Onyango, the Secretariat accuses united Opposition, of orchestrating a “familiar campaign of misinformation” about Mr. Odinga’s health.


The statement alleges that the group has co-opted sections of the media that are amplifying false reports — some based on AI-generated images — portraying Mr. Odinga as being unwell. 


The misinformation, the Secretariat says, is part of a strategy to “bully” the veteran opposition leader into backing their political struggle against President Ruto.


Onyango clarifies that Mr. Odinga recently traveled out of the country on Friday evening, one of many trips he has made this year. Contrary to claims, he did not travel to Europe for medical reasons and is not indisposed.


The Secretariat concludes by acknowledging the frustration of Mr. Odinga’s opponents, insisting that the false health reports are politically motivated and aimed at undermining his influence both domestically and internationally.

The report indicates that the school is technically insolvent and is operating at a deficit, leading to significant pending bills.
